1. All stories MUST be posted by an OEAM Yahoo group member on at least one of the OEAM Yahoo groups or the OEAM Livejournal Community to be added to the archive. New members are required to post at least one story or an introductory post to one of the OEAM groups before posting a story to the Livejournal community.

2. All stories must be sent to the archivist as a file (.doc, .wpd, .wps, .rtf, .htm, .html). ANY exceptions MUST be cleared with the archivist first. Your story MUST have a header included. If you do not send your story to the archivist after posting, it is assumed that it is your choice not to be archived.
   
   
3. If you have posted your story to the OEAM Live Journal Community, it must either be tagged with the "archive: yes" tag or sent to the archivist as a file.
   
   
4. All stories should be grammar and spell checked before being submitted to the archivist. Unreadable stories will be returned for the author to correct and re-submit.
   
   
5. It is not mandatory, but it is advised that authors have a beta reader, someone who can help them correct errors in grammar, content, etc. Check out the Beta Listing and Tips page if you need to find a beta or find out what a beta does.
   
   
6. Authors are not permitted to have more than six 'Works In Progress' posted to the archive at any one time, with a limit of three WIPs per fandom.
   
   
7. No story may contain underage (under 18) persons real or fictional in a sexual situation.
   
   
8. The website administrator and archivist reserve the right to reject or remove any fiction at our discretion.

Ratings Guidelines (These are based on the US ratings system):

G - Would you read it to a young child? If yes, it's G. No sexuality alluded to except in hints. Nothing beyond a hug or kiss on the cheek.

PG - Short kisses, cuddling, some action/mild violence. Sexuality alluded to. A kiss on the mouth that does not include tongue. Minor angst or emotional trauma okay.

PG-13 - Kissing with tongue, clothed frottage, blood. Some violence, not extreme. Sexuality talked about but nothing done below the waist.

R - Sex, with no description of penetration, gore. Violence.

NC-17 - Fully descriptive sexual acts, explicit or graphic sex. Torture, strong BDSM, extreme violence.
