"Viggo, I don't think it's going to fit." Sean said shaking his head and breathing a bit heavily.
"What do you mean? Of course it's going to fit." Viggo asked exasperated, of course it would fit.
"Viggo, I really don't think it will fit." Sean repeated.
"Sean, quit being so negative." Viggo sighed. He wondered sometimes about Sean…he really did.
Sean sighed and shook his head. He wondered about Viggo sometimes…he really did.
"It wouldn't be so bad if you'd stop wiggling it that way…it's prickly ya know." Sean complained turning to look at Viggo.
"I'm not WIGGLING anything." Viggo snapped, standing about four feet from the object of Sean's ridicule.
Sean looked back at Viggo, who he just realized couldn't possibly be wiggling anything standing over there. "Oh…then why's it moving?"
About that time a squirrel bounced out of the fine blue spruce Christmas tree, chattering and scolding the two men; (in squirrel language of course) who were trying to shove the tree through the front door of Viggo's Idaho cottage.
Viggo looked at the squirrel and then to Sean and they both began to laugh, as the furry critter ran down the porch and up the nearest pine tree.
"Well…certainly don't see that everyday." Viggo muttered still laughing.
"I feel bad now…we evicted a squirrel for a Christmas tree." Sean said shaking his head.
"Well let's not let his sacrifice be in vain…we'll get this thing in the house if we have to take the door off the hinges." Viggo said with determination.
Later that night.
"You were right, Viggo…it did fit quite nicely after all." Sean said smiling proudly at the beautiful tree decorated with white lights and sparkling ornaments.
"How about I show you something else that will fit quite
nicely?" Viggo suggested with a wicked grin.
